Postgraduate Institute of Management together with PIM Alumni launched PIMARC (PIM Annual Research Conference) a first-of-its-kind research conference that strives to connect academics and practitioners. PIM joined hands with PIMA in organizing this to promote the concept of combining the expertise of both sectors (Academia and corporate) to fill the void for action-centric research in the industry. 

Representing the PIM Research Center Dr Nilakshi Galahitiyawa and representing PIMA, Denzil Perera took the initiative forward under the guidance of Director PIM, Prof Ajantha Dharmasiri and President PIMA Jayalal Hewawasam. The event was patronized by both corporates and academia and was a great success.
