Mr. Dileep Udara, a distinguished leader in the Transport and Logistics sector, currently serving as the Head of Supply at Digital Mobility Solutions Lanka Ltd., known as PickMe. With a BSc (Hons) in Transport and Logistics Management from the University of Moratuwa and an MBA from PIM, Dileep combines extensive knowledge with practical experience.
Dileep began his career as a Coordinator Branch Operator at the Gampaha branch, quickly advancing to Colombo District Manager and then to Senior Manager – Supply Planning, where he oversees driver care and operations, driving efficiency and expanding PickMe’s services into rural areas. He is a passionate advocate for sustainability, spearheading initiatives like the introduction of electric tuk-tuks and participating in major projects such as the Bus Rapid Transit Project. As a dedicated freelance lecturer, Dileep mentors future professionals and has made significant contributions to PIMA.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the “Husmata Husmak” project, donating ventilators to hospitals. In 2023, as Project Chair of the PIMA League, he organized successful events that engaged the community. His efforts in the “PIMA Gamata” project further supported Sri Lankan women entrepreneurs through workshops. Dileep’s exceptional contributions and collaboration with PIMA Exco members culminated in his appointment to the PIMA Exco in 2024, where he continues to drive positive change and make a lasting impact on both the organization and the broader community.
